Dear VPK Engineer Parents,
Welcome to the Lakeville family! We are very excited to have your child join us here at Lakeville for our VPK program. We know how special this year will be for you, and your child as you see how much they will learn and grow in a year! We have a few special events planned for you leading up to the first day of school. Your child’s teacher will also reach out to meet you and your child prior to the first day of school.
School Supplies
Your student will need some school supplies to help them on their way to success.
Learning Supplies
Crayons (24 Count)
Washable Markers
Play Doh (1 package)
Glue Sticks (4 Pack)
Plastic Folder (1 folder)
Personal Supplies- Please label these items with your child’s first and last name.
Change of Clothes (Shirt, Pants, Underpants, socks) - please send in a ziplock bag
Sleeping Mat - for rest time
Towel or Small Blanket - for rest time
Breakfast & Lunch
All students at Lakeville Elementary are provided with a free breakfast and lunch each day. Our VPK students will also be provided with a free breakfast and lunch each day.
Daily Snacks
Your child should pack an individual snack with them to have during snack time each day.
VPK Orientation
We will be hosting a VPK Orientation in the media center on Tuesday August 8th at 5:00pm. This will be a chance for you to meet our VPK team and learn about their daily schedule and what to expect for the first day and week of school.
Meet the Teacher
You will have a chance to come to campus to meet your child’s teacher on Tuesday, August 8th from 5:30pm-7:00pm. You are more than welcome to drop off any school supplies at this time.
