Principal’s Message

Greetings, Engineers!!

It is with great excitement and gratitude that I introduce myself as the new proud principal of Lakeville Elementary. I am honored to join this outstanding school community and look forward to partnering with our students, families, staff, and community members as we continue to build a legacy of excellence.

I bring 18 years of experience in education, including 9 years in administration and 4 years serving as a principal. Throughout my career, I have been committed to creating learning environments where every child feels valued, challenged, and empowered to succeed.

This year, we are embracing an Olympic-inspired theme:

Team Lakeville: One Team. One Dream. Going for the Gold!A smiling Black woman with long, dark hair wears a red turtleneck against a textured gray background.

As proud Lakeville Engineers, we know that success is built through hard work, perseverance, teamwork, and determination. Just as engineers keep the train moving forward, we are committed to ensuring that every student stays on track toward academic excellence and a bright future.

Lakeville Elementary is proud to be a “B” school, and together, we are setting our sights on the gold medal. Through strong relationships, high expectations, data-driven instruction, and meaningful collaboration, we are determined to move from good to great as we strive to become an “A” school.

Success is not a solo event; it requires all of us working together. Families, staff, students, and community partners each play an important role in helping our children reach their destination. As we begin this exciting journey, I invite you to climb aboard and join Team Lakeville. Together, we will celebrate accomplishments, overcome challenges, and continue moving full steam ahead toward a future filled with endless possibilities. Thank you for entrusting us with your children. I am excited for the year ahead and all that we will accomplish together.

One Team. One Dream. Going for the Gold!

Full Steam Ahead,

Tabitha Brown
